My ambition is for PIRIDRA to become an African reference by delivering a service with specialist expertise based on world references, which is a lever for performance and competitiveness, and adapted to our socio-economic realities.

A computer design engineer by training, Papa Demba Drame has more than 17 years of experience as an IT services provider. After 2 years as a developer — on one hand in a university research laboratory, on the other at the Société des Jeux du Sénégal — he then spent more than 15 years at a large pan-African multinational IT solutions integrator.
He held every managerial and operational, technical and pre-sales position there: BU Manager Datacenter, Head of Datacenter Department, Business Solution Manager, up to Head of the Cloud & Advanced Services division.
His time in operational roles covering needs identification and qualification, sizing, implementation and client support helped him coordinate activities on major accounts and manage pre-sales and consulting teams at sub-regional level, with multidisciplinary expert teams spread across several subsidiaries.
He was a major player in the development of the Datacenter and virtualization in French-speaking West Africa, and supported the development of Cloud Services offers, advanced professional-services expertise and information-systems governance consulting — with innovative solutions oriented toward digital transformation, adapted to the West African market.
Building on this experience, Papa Demba Drame started out as an entrepreneur by setting up PIRIDRA, to share his expertise at sub-regional level and help shape the technology directions and quality-of-service requirements of the economy — while staying true to African cultural realities, to be a player in emergence through ICT.
